CLEVELAND - A smoke plume from western fires will arrive in Ohio this evening and will likely provide northeast Ohio with a brilliant sunset tonight.

The upper level winds are sweeping ash and other fine particulate matter from wildfires burning in Illinois and Missouri toward the area today, according to the National Weather Service.

The sun's reflection of these specks of dust in the atmosphere along with clear skies will create a wind range of colors as the sun nears the horizon.

The best viewing time tonight will be between 7:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., with actual sunset occurring at 8:19 p.m.
