Thursday starts on another chilly note

CLEVELAND - Northeast Ohio woke to another morning of frigid temperatures Thursday morning.

Wooster found itself the coldest of the major reporting stations as the mercury fell to -2 degrees in the city. The wind made it feel even colder as wind chill factors were between -5 to -10 degrees creating quite a chilly suprise for kids waiting at their bus stops.

WKYC Meteorologist Betsy Kling says the worst is over - for now - and temperatures begin to warm to more tolerable by the weekend.

  • Cleveland Hopkins: 6 degrees
  • Burke Lakefront: 14 degrees
  • Lorain/Elyria: 6 degrees
  • Ashtabula: 8 degrees
  • Akron/Canton: 5 degrees
  • Wooster: -2 degrees
  • Mansfield: 6 degrees
  • Youngstown: 4 degrees
  • New Philadelphia: 3 degrees
