Three men arrested for armed robberies in an hour's time

KENT -- Police say they arrested three men who are suspects in three armed robberies all between 3:30 a.m. and 4:22 a.m. Sunday on Crain and Franklin avenues and Golden Oaks Drive.

The Kent Police Department is investigating three armed robberies that occurred in a span of an hour in different parts of the city Sunday at the conclusion of the unofficial Halloween celebration.

Police say the suspects approached victims brandishing firearms and demanding valuables. The suspects were stopped in a vehicle shortly after the last robbery.

Three suspects were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and complicity to aggravated robbery.

Two of the victims sustained minor injuries during the robberies.

All three men had handguns.

Police arrested and charged Gary L. Bacchus Jr., 19, of Cleveland Heights; Michael Mccollins, 21, of Cleveland; and Christopher B. Mason Jr., 19, of Euclid.
