CLEVELAND -- We know you want to watch your "Windians," and if you want to be close to the atmosphere and downtown, you have a lot of options to get there on a dime.
The best option: Avoid traffic and parking altogether and "Take the train to the Tribe."
Parking is free at most RTA Rapid stations.
Service back home is guaranteed for at least 90 minutes after the game, even if it goes into extra innings.
And for $5 you can score an all-day pass, which is much cheaper than parking downtown.
Downtown lots have, of course, already raised their rates. Consider yourself lucky if you find anything less than $20 or $30.
Last point to keep in mind, even though we are all "Rocking our Red," it is still orange downtown for construction season.
The ramp from East Ninth Street to Interstate 90 West is closed.
So if you're traveling west or southwest after the game, use the ramp at East 14th Street or take Interstate 77 south to Interstate 490 west as an alternative.
