CLEVELAND -- The Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works says East 9th Street, from Euclid Avenue to Prospect Avenue, will re-open ahead of schedule to traffic by 3 p.m. Thursday.
Work will continue on East 9th Street from Euclid Avenue to North Marginal Road with temporary lane closures to facilitate the required utility casting adjustments and curb ramp installations.
A minimum of two lanes in each direction will be maintained during rush hour.
Due to the heavy traffic volumes that utilize East 9th Street, traffic delays are expected.
It is strongly suggested that those planning to travel along East 9th Street allow additional time to reach their downtown destination.
