CLEVELAND --  There are currently sixty-six missing people listed in the Cleveland Police database, with open cases ranging from one day to 18 years.

However, as Channel 3 began to dig into some of these reports to assist families in their search for their loved ones, we learned some of the people listed in the database had been found...a while ago.

Because of the discrepancies, we asked Sgt. Sammy Morris with the Cleveland Police Department to address this possible issue:  "The biggest thing is getting them up on that website and getting information out that they're missing," said Morris. "I mean if we delay a little bit in taking them off I don't think that's really that big of a problem."

Sgt. Morris claims the bigger problem that remains are the dozens of other missing person's cases that are still unsolved, like Noel Morris who has been missing for more than 10 years. "We just feel that there's somebody out there that last seen him talked to him that maybe they know something," said Morris' sister Crystal Bouguerra.

Another case police are asking for help with involves 21-year-old Ashley Leszyeski who disappeared two days ago near Kinsman Road and left her one year old child behind.
