Portage County: Search ended for missing Norton man

Portage County -- The search for a missing Norton man has ended. The Sheriff plans to other aspects of the investigation on Monday.

On Saturday, over 100 people helped the Portage County Sheriff's Department along with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources conduct a search at the Berlin Lake Wildlife Area.

Portage County Sheriff David Doak told Channel 3 that Jeffery Hathaway, 45, of Norton has been missing since Wednesday morning. His car was found was found Friday morning near an area described by the sheriff as a dense wooded area.   It had not been moved in two days.

Sheriff Doak said Hathaway is  6'2", has blonde hair and blue eyes and weighs around 220 pounds.
