COVENTRY -- Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a PNC Bank in the 3300 block of Manchester Road.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office says the suspect walked into the bank around 2:55 p.m. Thursday and handed the teller an envelope. Inside the envelope was a note that demanded money.

The suspect subsequently fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was wearing blue pants, white shoes and a blue T-shirt containing the words, "American Legend" and an image of an eagle.

Anyone with information should call Summit County Crimestoppers at 330-434-COPS or the Summit County Sheriff's Detective Bureau at 330-643-2131.

Information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward.
