Trucking company says Pilot repaid money owed

A Nebraska trucking company says Pilot has paid back the money it owed from what the government calls a rebate scheme.

According to FBI affidavits, W.N. Morehouse in Omaha, Nebraska is a victim of Pilot Flying J fraud Morehouse leaders say Pilot shortchanged them $140,000.

Owner Curt Morehouse said he was angry at first, then satisfied after CEO Jimmy Haslam called and agreed to pay him back.

Morehouse says Pilot paid the money on Monday.

A judge denied a motion to issue a restraining order against company officials from contacting customers who may have fallen victim to the alleged rebate scheme.

Haslam is also owner of the Cleveland Browns.
