CLEVELAND -- A shooting that happened on Friday evening now has one family grieving.
The Cleveland Police Department is investigating the death of 17-year-old Michael Whitaker.
Whitaker was shot in the chest and back on W.91st Street around 6 p.m. He was then taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died from his injuries at 12 p.m.
Police say Whitaker was in the house with friends when he went outside. After going outside, several shots were heard and Whitaker was hit. No one has been arrested or charged in this shooting.
