WICKLIFFE - Wickliffe police say one man is under arrest after another man was shot twice in the head Saturday morning.
Police said the shooting happened shortly before 11:30 a.m. inside a home on E. 290th Street where both the suspect and victim lived.
When police from multiple agencies arrived they found the victim, a 56 year old man inside a neighbor's home with gunshot wounds. It was then discovered the suspect, a 53 year old male, was still inside the house where the shooting took place.
After police made contact with the suspect, he eventually surrendered to officers without incident and was placed under arrest.
The victim is currently hospitalized and is expected to survive; his identity is not being released. Police say the suspect is being held in Wickliffe City Jail and will be arraigned on charges related to the shooting Monday morning.
His identity will be released at the time of his court hearing. Police have determined a motive for the attack but will not make any comments at this time.
