US Marshals arrest man in Cleveland rape case

CLEVELAND -- The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force has taken a man into custody wanted in connection with a rape on Cleveland's west side.

Tyson Williams, 25, is accused by Cleveland Police of allegedly abducting a woman from a bus stop on West 73rd and raping her at gunpoint in his car at the corner of W. 69th and Denison Avenue.

Marshals and members of the task force narrowed their search to the 1900 block of West 73rd Street this morning and at approximately 9 a.m. took Williams into custody without incident. A male relative of Williams-an uncle-was also arrested for obstruction of justice and taken to the city jail.
