TWINSBURG -- A woman was taken to the hospital after an SUV slammed into her disabled car Saturday afternoon.
Police and rescue crews were called to the scene on Interstate 480 around 12:47 p.m. for reports of a two-car crash.
According to fire crews on scene, a woman was pulled over on the side of the road after her car stopped. While she was still in the car, an SUV crashed into the back of her Pontiac Sunfire.
The victim was taken to Hillcrest Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The driver of the SUV did not need treatment.
The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
Traffic was backed up following the crash but the area has since reopened and is back to normal.
