Summit County: Police bust meth lab with child

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- During a meth lab bust at a hotel Thursday, Springfield Township Police discovered a 4-year-old child inside the hotel room where the lab was being kept.

Akron Police shared information with Springfield Township Police about an active methamphetamine lab at the Red Roof Inn on South Arlington Road.

When officers located the hotel room with the lab, they arrested five suspects and discovered a 4-year-old child of one of the suspects inside.

The child was taken to Akron Children's Hospital and is now in the custody of Summit County Children's Services.

Suspects arrested in the case were Yvette Ray, 39, of Akron; Justin Delaney, 32, of Akron; Jeffrey Guilliams, 40, of Akron; Stacy Hervet, 39, of Barberton and Edward Hervet, 39, of Akron.

All five suspects are in the Summit County Jail and charges are still pending in the case.
