AKRON -- A jury has found a 38-year-old Akron man guilty of multiple drug charges.

Daniel Mack was convicted Wednesday of manufacturing methamphetamines, illegal assembly of chemicals for the manufacture of methamphetamines and aggravated possession of drugs, according to Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh.

The charges stem from an anonymous tip in early October 2012 that led Akron Police to an apartment on Kenmore Blvd. where it was believed the tenants were cooking meth.

Once inside, officers found meth residue, ingredients and equipment used to manufacture meth.

Mack will be sentenced on Feb. 21 at 1:30 p.m.
