Bath: Police catch suspected burglar minutes after burglary

BATH -- Monday night, Bath police and the Akron police K-9 tracked a burglar in the woods just after he had burglarized an occupied home near Big Spruce Drive.

Police say they arrested Alton S. Dubrock, 54, of Butler, PA, in a wooded area in the 4200 block of Big Spruce Drive at 7:45 p.m. Monday.

Police say he had burglarized an occupied home in the 3900 block of North Shore Dr. at 6:32 p.m.

Dubrock is also a suspect in a carjacking in the City of Akron.

A vehicle was taken from the 200 block of East Market Street at 5:52 p.m. Monday. That vehicle was found in Bath Township on I-77 near the Ghent Road exit just prior to the North Shore burglary.

Dubrock is now in the Summit County Jail.
