CLEVELAND --Officials with Cleveland Hopkins International Airport advise travelers to check with their airlines or the airport before leaving home on Thursday.

As for Thursday's flight schedule, most airlines who had to cancel routes will take off.

However, a few cancellations have already been reported: Southwest Airlines has cancelled its first four flights Thursday morning.

Sixty percent of the flights scheduled to leave Cleveland Hopkins Airport the day after Christmas were grounded, due to the massive snowstorm.

Most passengers got the message but some still arrived at the airport looking for a way to fly out.

PFC Sandra Shirey was on holiday leave from Ft. Hood with the U.S. Army.  She was visiting her Ohio family and expected to report back on Friday, but will now be held up in Cleveland until that date.

"This isn't really relaxing. It's just a pain and I don't want to deal with it," said Shirey.

Many whose flights were grounded Wednesday found the next available opportunity to fly would be Friday.
