Springfield Township: SWAT stand-off ends peacefully

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP -- Metro SWAT officers responded to a man barricaded in a house and believed to be armed Thursday morning.

Police were called to a house on Carper Avenue after threats were made by the suspect.

After a short stand-off with police, the man surrendered.

An air soft pistol modified to appear real was located at the house.

Brandon A. Riley, of Springfield Township, was arrested and charged with inducing panic and was taken to the Summit County jail.
