MIAMI - U.S. forecasters say Tropical Storm Nadine is slowly churning away from the Azores out in the Atlantic.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said at 8 a.m. EDT Friday that Nadine was centered about 215 miles (350 kms) south of the Azores and moving to the south at 7 mph (11 kph).
Forecasters say the storm has top sustained winds of about 65 mph (100 kph).
The center says tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 275 miles (445 kms) from Nadine's center. A tropical storm warning remains in effect for the Azores.
