CLEVELAND -- Cleveland's homicide detectives are investigating after a drive-by shooting left one man dead and another injured.
Police say they were called to the 900 block of Nathaniel Avenue on Sunday night. They found a victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. The 24-year-old has been taken to Metro for treatment.
A second victim with a gunshot wound to the torso had been taken by private car to Euclid General Hospital where he died of his injuries.
Police identify the victim as Steven J. Commack, 26, of Cleveland.
Detectives say it appears the men were shot from a car that fled the scene northbound on Nathaniel. Witnesses were unable to give police a description of the car.
