Final: Bengals 34, Browns 27

The Browns could not recover an on-side kick and lose today's game against the Bengals 34-27.

Browns kicker Phil Dawson kicked a 25-yard field goal late in the 4th quarter.  The Browns trail the Bengals 34-27.

Mike Nugent kicked a 37-yard field goal to cap off an 11-play drive for 58 yards.  Cincinnati led Cleveland 34-24.

Earlier in the 4th quarter, quarterback Brandon Weeden hit Greg Little on a 24-yard touchdown strike.  The Browns trailed the Bengals 31-24.

Wide Receiver Andrew Hawkins bobbed and weaved his way to a 50-yard touchdown after a pass from quarterback Andy Dalton.

After the score, the Bengals took a 31-17 lead in the 4th quarter.

In the 3rd quarter, quarterback Brandon Weeden connected with running back Trent Richardson on a 23-yard touchdown pass.  The Browns trailed the Bengals 24-17.

Earlier in the 3rd quarter, wide receiver Brandon Tate caught a 44-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to give the Bengals a 24-10 lead.

Just before halftime, Bengals kicker Mike Nugent converted a 39-yard field goal to give the Bengals a 17-10 lead.

Browns running back Trent Richardson has his first NFL touchdown.

The rookie scored from 32-yards out in the 2nd quarter to pull the Browns within 14-10.  Richardson's touchdown was part of a 5-play drive of 76 yards.

On the previous Bengals possession, quarterback Andy Dalton hit A.J. Green on a 10-yard touchdown pass to put Cincinnati up 14-3 in the 2nd quarter.

That touchdown capped a 74-yard drive on 8-plays.

Earlier in the 1st quarter, Phil Dawson kicked 50-yard field goal to give the Browns their first points of the game.

The Bengals scored first on an Adam "Pac-man" Jones punt return for an 81-yard touchdown.

It was the fifth career punt return for a touchdown for Jones.

The Browns fall to 0-2 and Bengals improve to 1-1.
