Events throughout Northeast Ohio commemorated the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

In Lakewood Park, Beth Israel, The West Temple hosted an interfaith service. The service had a theme of peace and finding harmony between religions and cultures.

At Hopkins Airport, a color guard and the TSA held a moment of silence to mark the moment when the first plane struck the Twin Towers.

At Tri-C, the anniversary of the terrorist attacks was remembered with a blood drive at the campus in Warrensville Heights.

Painesville safety forces held an annual memorial and awards ceremony to mark the occasion.

While in Elyria a candlelight vigil on the square remembered the victims lost on that day in 2001.
