BOLIVAR -- The Tuscarawas County Coroner has identified the 19-year-old man who died Monday in the oil well explosion in Tuscarawas County.
The victim was Paul Sherman, 19, who lived in Jackson Township near Canton. He was a 2011 graduate of Canton Central High School.
The state fire marshal and OSHA continue to investigate the incident.

Sherman is the son of Michael Sherman, owner of MKE Producing. He said his son was a full-time college student and was doing some work for him that day.
Officials said Paul Sherman was doing touch-up painting at the well site when it exploded just before 9:50 a.m. Monday.
Sherman said his son had attended Baldwin-Wallace College last year and was planning to transfer to Kent State's Stark Campus in September.
