PENCE, KANSAS -- A newlywed couple in Kansas ended up sharing their wedding day photos with a some spectacular, uninvited guests: tornadoes.
The couple tied the knot in front of a picture perfect farmhouse in Kansas complete with two twisters swirling in the distance across a wheat field.
The groom's mother says the timing was perfect and priceless. "It's just Kansas, it's just who we are, it's like wheat fields, cowboys and tornadoes, what more can you ask for?"
For the bride, it was her first time seeing a tornado, a feat she hopes to never repeat.
She says she asked the photographer if they should be concerned about the tornadoes but was told the storms were eight miles away and moving away from the wedding's location.
