MEDINA -- A search of Medina Senior High School following a threat Friday turned up nothing according to investigators.

A written threat was made at the school on East Union Street around 2 p.m.

Classes were ended for the day and students were evacuated while the Summit County Bomb Squad and bomb sniffing dogs searched the building.

Nothing was found.

Once the threat was determined to be false, students were allowed inside to get their belongings before leaving for the day.

Streets around the school have reopened.

Classes are scheduled to resume on Monday.
