PITTSBURGH -- Police say a Pittsburgh woman ran over her boyfriend after he assaulted her, and then tried to help him.
Pittsburgh police say that 39-year-old Damona Anderson ran over the father of her three children just before midnight Thursday.
The man, who police did not identify, allegedly assaulted her earlier that day at a nearby gas station. Officers report that they found Anderson helping the man when they arrived at the scene.
Police say the couple had an on-again, off-again relationship. Anderson was charged with aggravated assault and robbery.
The man was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition. No attorney was listed for Anderson on court papers and she couldn't be contacted.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 14.
