The Papa John's Pizza chain is facing a $250 million class-action lawsuit for allegedly blasting customers with illegal text messages.
Plaintiffs say Papa John's franchises sent a total of 500,000 text messages in early 2010 with offers for discounts.
Some customers say text messages were sent in the middle of the night.
The text messaging service "OnTime4U" is also a defendant in the case.
