Cots were passed out to passengers who were stranded at the airport.
Before closing on Saturday, an airport spokesman says only about 100 flights had arrived at or departed from Hopkins as a result of the storm, which had paralyzed Ohio and surrounding states with snow and touched off severe storms and torrential rains to the south.
The Akron-Canton airport remained open.
According to a spokeswoman, the terminal and runways are open.
