Crews found sewer lines in bad shape, between Public Square and East 9th Street. The city will replace or fix them. RTA claims, it can still get the project done, by its deadline—the end of next year. “We had planned for a surprise. We built in some flow with the schedule particularly with the downtown project,” said Michael Schipper, RTA Deputy General Manager. The city will pay the added cost. The Euclid Corridor is the bus light-rail line, that will connect Public Square and University Circle.
