Police say Clarett was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and a traffic violation after leading them on a highway chase.
Authorities say they found four loaded guns in his S-U-V.
His trial on robbery charges is to begin Monday.
Prosecutors asked the common pleas judge to keep Clarett in jail and revoke his bond.
Instead, the judge raised the bond to one-point-one million dollars, a sum Clarett's lawyer says he probably won't be able to pay.
That means Clarett could spend the duration of his trial in jail.
