T'Wolves edge Nuggets behind 52 free throws

Denver, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Kevin Martin finished with 22 points, including eight from the free throw line in the final 30 seconds to help the Minnesota Timberwolves hang on for a 132-128 triumph over the Denver Nuggets on Monday at Pepsi Center.

Kevin Love led the way with 33 points and 19 rebounds, while Corey Brewer, Nikola Pekovic and J.J. Barea each netted 16 points for the Timberwolves, who went 52-of-64 from the charity stripe as they wrapped up a five-game road trip at 4-1.

Ty Lawson supplied 31 points and 11 assists, Wilson Chandler donated 25 points and 10 boards, and Randy Foye and Kenneth Faried finished with 22 and 21 points, respectively, for Denver, which has dropped six straight and 11 of its last 12 games.
