(SportsNetwork.com) - The Golden State Warriors go for their 10th consecutive
victory on Tuesday night when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley
The Warriors haven't lost since a home setback on Dec. 19 to the San Antonio
Spurs. They are 5-0 on this current eastern road trip, which will end
Wednesday in Brooklyn.
With a victory on Tuesday against the Bucks, Golden State will have won 10
consecutive games in one season for the first time since 1975.
"It means something because it's history," Golden State head coach Mark
David Lee had 21 points, 11 rebounds and six assists as the Warriors routed
the Washington Wizards 112-96 Sunday to notch their sixth straight road
victory, which is their longest streak since 2005.
Klay Thompson netted 26 points, while Andrew Bogut added 15 points and 11
boards for the Warriors. Steph Curry also notched a double-double with 14
points and 10 assists and Harrison Barnes finished with 13.
The Bucks return home from a three-game road trip, where they went 1-2. They
bested the Los Angeles Lakers on New Year's Eve, but dropped the last two in
Utah and Phoenix.
Against the Suns on Saturday, Phoenix cruised to a 116-100 victory. It was
Milwaukee's fifth loss in its last seven and 10th in the last 12 outings.
Brandon Knight scored 25 points and dished out eight assists and O.J. Mayo
scored 20 points off the bench for the Bucks. Caron Butler finished with 16
and Ersan Ilyasova managed 12 points in defeat.
Milwaukee allowed 38 points off a season-high 26 turnovers in the setback.
That turnover total is what doomed the Bucks. They shot 54.4 percent from the
field and 47.6 percent from long range and held the Suns under those
