CLEVELAND -- U.S. Marshals in Cleveland arrested a suspected child abuser from Texas Tuesday afternoon.
Erica Johnson, 25, who was wanted by the Arlington Police Department was found about 3:30 p.m. on the porch of a house in the 3700 block of East 57th Street.
She was arrested without incident and taken to the Cuyahoga County Jail, where she will await extradition to Texas.
It is alleged that Johnson severely physically abused a child, who ended up dying.
In a news release, Marshal Pete Elliott said the following: "I am proud that the task force responded so swiftly and efficiently to get this alleged child abuser off the streets. There is no crime worse than once against a child, and we will stop at nothing to get every last offender off the streets."
