The Browns will take on the Bears in Chicago for the final preseason game tonight on Channel 3.
Here are four keys to the game from WKYC's Dave Chudowsky.
4. Keep an eye on Special teams! A few players will or won't make this team based on their play tonight. The punter position is still up in the air.
Jason Campbell will start at Quarterback. If he plays poorly against the Bears' back-ups does that concern you if Brandon Weeden gets hurt? Brian Hoyer will now get the start. Campbell is out with the flu. David Nelson will play for the first time tonight as a member of the Cleveland Browns. Nelson has been battling a knee issue and he will finally get a chance to show what he can do. Nelson hasn't played since the start of last season when he suffered an ACL injury. Coach Chud expects to give Nelson as much time as he needs.
2. Josh Gordon is the only offensive starter that will play tonight. Gordon will miss the first two games of the regular season. Will he take his role seriously tonight with the 2nd team players and take advantage of the playing time to be ready when he returns for week 3?
1. Stay healthy! The Browns can't afford to lose any of the players playing tonight that will make this roster. The roster is deeper than the last few years but it is still not where it needs to be. You don't want to have any injuries in this final pre season game in Chicago that doesn't count for anything.
Coverage on Channel 3 begins at 7 p.m. with a 2012 Browns review. Then it's the Pregame Huddle at 7:30 p.m. Kickoff is at 8 p.m.
