Wickliffe police make 2nd heroin bust in 24 hours

WICKLIFFE -- Police and the Lake County Narcotics Agency arrested Ronald D. Harris, 19, of Cleveland for selling heroin in the parking lot of the McDonald's restaurant at 28711 Euclid Avenue.

It was the second felony drug trafficking arrest in 24 hours.

In addition to charges of trafficking heroin, Harris was also charged with felony fleeing.

During the incident, Harris tried to escape in a Saturn Ion, colliding with a Wickliffe police cruiser, resulting in damage to both vehicles.

Harris was taken into custody at the scene, along with approximately 2 grams of Heroin and several hundred dollars in cash.
