Police: Three women charged in IHOP shooting

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS -- Police tell Channel 3 that Sharon Moore, 24; Rachella Womack, 20, and Natosha Williams, 22, were charged with involuntary manslaughter, inciting to violence, vandalism and robbery. after a shooting at the Cleveland Heights International House of Pancakes.

The women, all from Cleveland, were taken to the Cuyahoga County Jail. The three were charged in the shooting of Nadia Williams, 25, just before 3 a.m. on Saturday.

Cleveland Heights police confirmed that security guard Gary Williams was escorting four women out of the restaurant when the group got into a fight.

That's when the guard fell and his gun discharged. Williams was shot in the head and was taken to University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The security guard, 41-year-old Gary Williams, has been a bailiff with the Cleveland Municipal Court since Oct. 20, 1997. Bailiffs are allowed to carry guns, pepper spray and other items necessary for safety.

Police tell Channel 3 that he has not been charged and the shooting is still under investigation.
