AKRON -- When a flash drive was left in a computer at Brown Mackie College on Thursday, the contents were viewed to see if the owner could be identified. But what turned up on the flash drive landed one man behind bars.
According to the Summit County Sheriff's Office, authorities were alerted when it appeared the contents on the flash drive included possible images of child pornography.
After authorities say they identified the flash drive owner as 27-year-old Christopher Hill of New Franklin, a search warrant was executed at his residence in the 4900 block of Pamela Drive.
Ultimately, Hill was arrested for pandering obscenity involving a minor and booked into the Summit County Jail.
Hill was booked into the Summit County Jail.
Additional charges are possible pending the investigation's outcome.
