BRECKSVILLE -- Teams of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) students from around the state participated in the first ever KindWind Challenge Saturday.
The event challenges each team to research, design, and build small wind turbines. Each team is judged based on their turbine's performance and their overall knowledge of wind energy.
The event took place at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center and went on for nearly 6 hours.
Prizes were awarded to the top middle and high school teams who participated.
