CLEVELAND -- A 40-year-old man has been sentenced to 21 years and 11 months in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
Michael Young, of North Olmsted, was accused of making child pornography available for sharing from his home computer.
Prosecutors say he also set up a hidden camera in his bathroom and secretly recorded a 17-year-old girl while she was nude.
Authorities had executed a search warrant at his residence on June 8 where they seized two desktop computers, several cameras, seven VHS tapes, 11 CDs, a memory card, thumb drive and an external hard drive.
Prosecutors say forensic investigators analyzed Young's computer and found hundreds of photographs and videos of child pornography saved to various devices as early as 2001.
Back on Nov. 30, Young pled guilty to 42 counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, four counts of minor in nude material or performance, four counts of voyeurism and one count of possessing criminal tools.
Young will be classified as a tier II sex offender upon his release.
