AKRON -- A wanted man accused in a fatal shooting has turned himself in.
According to Akron Police, 24-year-old Phillip Pope surrendered to authorities around 6 p.m. Thursday.
A warrant had been issued for Pope's arrest after the Nov. 28 death of 21-year-old Will Lamon who was shot while sitting in a car at the intersection of Buckinghma Street and Fairbanks Place. Lamon later died at Akron City Hospital.
He has been charged with aggravated murder and booked into the Summit County Jail.
