AVON LAKE -- Gov. Mitt Romney will be making a campaign in Northeast Ohio on Monday.
The event will be held at Avon Lake High School at 11:50 a.m. Doors open at 9:15 a.m.
The high school is located at 175 Avon Belden Road in Avon Lake.
Tickets can be picked up at the Avon Lake Victory Center located at 375-J Lear Road.
Tickets may also be obtained by visiting Gov. Romney's campaign website.
Superintendent Bob Scott says the campaign made sure school wouldn't be canceled for the day.
Students will have the option of attending the rally or participating in other activities throughout the building.
Scott is excited about the opportunity students are getting by being able to attend a national political event.
Avon Lake High School has about 1,300 students who will all pass through security before entering the building.
The rally will be held in the school gym which seats roughly 3,000.
