CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Public Library is hosting a special "Writers & Readers" event Saturday, Sept. 15 with a pair of authors who will examine and discuss the 2012 election.

Tom Beres, WKYC's senior political correspondent, will host and moderate the event featuring writers S.E. Cupp and Jodi Kantor.

Cupp, who calls herself "a closet conservative in Leftoid Land," is a freelance political columnist and conservative culture critic. She's the author of "Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media's Attack on Christianity" and coauthor of "Why You're Wrong About the Right, Behind the Myths: The Surprising Truth About Conservatives."

Kantor is the New York Times Washington correspondent and author of "The Obamas: A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the White House (2012)." She started writing about the Obamas in 2007, penning some of the earliest articles about Michelle Obama and the role of the daughters in their father's life.

The event, which will be held in the Louis Stokes Wing Auditorium, is free. Seating is on a first-come first-serve basis.
