Marshals arrest sex offender for failing to register

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- A man wanted for failure to register as a sex offender has been taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Cuyahoga Falls.

Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force have arrested Tyonne James Hosey, 29, of Akron. Hosey was wanted out of Summit County for failing to register as a sex offender.

Hosey served time in prison for the rape of a girl. Upon his release in 2006 he was required to register his address once a year for 10 years.

Marshals took Hosey into custody without incident around 1:30 p.m. He's in the Summit County Jail.
