EASTLAKE -- Police say they have a Euclid man in custody in connection with two robberies.
On August 8, the BP at the Route 91 and Vine was robbed by a man who said he had a gun. The next morning on August 9, there was an attempted robbery at the Convenient at Vine and East 343rd Street.
Police say since no weapon was seen in either case, detectives suspected the same person may be involved.
After circulating information about the person they were looking for, detectives received a tip.
On September 4, police took the 46-year-old Euclid man into custody. He's being held on charges of robbery and attempted robbery. He faces arraignment in Willoughby.
