SUMMIT COUNTY -- On Wednesday, a Summit County Sheriff's deputy recognized a woman sought in an Aug. 5 attack and robbery of an 82-year-old in a Giant Eagle parking lot in Macedonia.
The deputy noticed a vehicle in Northfield Center Township that matched the description and the driver matched the description of the suspect.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Kimberly Tromski, 43, of Uniontown, who was wanted in connection with the robbery.
On Aug. 5, an 82-year-old woman was robbed at the Giant Eagle located at 290 East Aurora Road in Macedonia. The victim was knocked to the ground during the robbery and was injured.
Bystanders were able to intervene and assisted in fending off the attacker. The Sheriff's Office was given a description of the suspect and her vehicle.
Tromski was charged with robbery and felonious assault and is now in the Summit County Jail.
