COLUMBIA STATION -- The community's support for 10-year-old Kayla Allen continued through to the end.
The sole survivor of the Cracker Barrel shooting on April 12 passed away Tuesday. Despite the loss, fundraising efforts will continue.
Family: Girl who survived restaurant shooting dies of injuries
On Thursday, May 17, a fundraiser will go on at Barbarino's restaurant. The event's focus has shifted from raising money for continued medical expenses, to burial costs.

The money raised will also go towards medical bills. The fundraiser begins at 7 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door.
Barbarino's is located at 23871 Sprague Road in Columbia Station.
