Facebook made its biggest ever purchase. The social media giant bought "Instagram" for a cool billion dollars. If you're not familiar with Instagram, it's an app lets you to take pictures, share them and use special filters. Users will still be able to run Instagram on rival social networks like Twitter but no word of what rights, if any, Facebook will have to those photos.
Fans have been sharing their favorite memories of broadcasting legend Mike Wallace. The Veteran "60 Minutes" journalist passed away this weekend at the age of 93. Wallace has been in poor health after retiring from full-time broadcasting in 2006. He leaves behind a long record of famously tough interviews with a variety of famous and infamous newsmakers.
The annual White House Easter Egg Roll took place today on the South Lawn today. The whole First Family, including dog Bo, joined in on the egg roll races and obstacle courses. More than 30,000 kids and parents joined in on all the fun. There were also musical performances and basketball games to all entertained.
