EUCLID -- FirstEnergy is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible in a series of thefts.

The company issued a press release Wednesday that states thieves broke into CEI's Euclid Service Center on Babbitt Road late last month. Copper wire and other electrical equipment with a replacement value of more than $75,000 was stolen.

FirstEnergy officials say they are working in conjunction with the Euclid Police Department.

Anybody with information is asked to call 216-289-8505.
