CLEVELAND -- Cleveland police are investigating after an 18-year-old woman says a man tried to grab her as she walked along a west side street.
According to a police report, on June 3 the woman said she was walking on Western and between W. 95th and W. 98th streets she was approached by a man in a gray or silver-colored SUV.
The man asked if she wanted a ride and the teen declined. The victim told police the man then got out of the SUV, opened the passenger door, grabbed her and tried to force her into the vehicle.
The woman fought back and managed to kick the man in the groin which allowed her to run away.
The man took and was last seen turning onto W. 98th Street.
