CLEVELAND -- Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Kathleen Sutula sentenced Bay Village resident Kent Krivich for two burglaries he committed in Bay Village.
Krivich, 23, pleaded guilty to breaking into a home on Knickerbocker Road on Aug. 11 and another home on Devonshire Court around Sept. 30.
Krivich received a sentence of 18 months in the Lorain Correctional Institute for his crimes and must make restitution in the amount of $1,150 to one of the victims.
In an unrelated case, Bryan Kubit, 42, of North Olmsted, was indicted Monday on one count of burglary and theft in common pleas court.
Kubit was indicted for his participation in a burglary that occurred the morning of Dec. 4 on Lincoln Road.
A flat screen TV and a laptop were taken from the home after the mandoor on the garage was forced open while the residents were away.
A neighbor was able to provide information and a description of Kubit and his vehicle leaving the burglarized home and he was immediately caught.
Kubit has remained in jail since his arrest.
